Investment Logic Mapping (ILM) and Project Management

Recently many clients have asked us – “What are Investment Logic Maps (ILM) and how does it fit into project management?"
The ILM is part of the Investment Management Standard (IMS) which has been developed by the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance. The standard was initially developed in 2004 after the requirement was identified to improve investment in individual initiatives throughout Victorian Government. Since 2004, the standard has been developed and improved and most recently was updated to Version 4 in 2010.
