PRINCE2® Foundation Upgrade Workshop and Exam (1 Day)

Recommended for:

This workshop is intended for participants who have completed a 2 day PRINCE2® Express Project Management Method course and who wish to attempt the PRINCE2® Foundation exam.

Availability:

This workshop is available as an in-house course.

Purpose:

The workshop is intended to add sufficient knowledge of the detailed aspects of the PRINCE2® methodology to enable the participants to pass the Foundation exam, the first level of an internationally recognized project management qualification.

Composition:

The workshop consists of a series of refresher lectures on each of the main elements of the PRINCE2® methodology with particular focus on PRINCE2® terminology. Each lecture is followed by practice exam questions and explanations.

The Foundation exam is run in the last hour of the workshop and consists of 75 multiple choice questions of which you must achieve 38 correct answers to pass. This is a closed book exam.

Format & Presentation:

This course is delivered over one day and is a blend of instruction through lectures and audio-visual presentations. Participants receive comprehensive course manuals.

Benefits:

• Successful Foundation exam candidates receive a certificate from the UK Office of Government Commerce via the APM Group Ltd.
• They are then eligible to register for the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam, the higher level qualification.

Derivation:

This course is derived from MetaPM’s (Rational Management) fully accredited PRINCE2® Foundation Course (3 days).
