Mark Ives is a leader in the area of project management.  Mark has led and directed a range of large and complex projects and consulting engagements within the financial services, government and telecommunications industries.

Before founding MetaPM in 2003, Mark enjoyed a 25-year career with nab during which he held the position of Program Director.  As General Manager, Mark is now responsible for leading and overseeing all consulting assignments.  Mark’s skill in directing project work and providing thought leadership has been instrumental in achieving successful outcomes for MetaPM clients.

Simon has 15 years experience in project management, with a particular focus on business development and account management. Before joining MetaPM, Simon has gained experience in various project management roles including Contracts Administrator, Project Planner, Project Controller and Senior Project Manager.

Simon joined MetaPM in 2006 in the role of Sales and Marketing Manager.  Simon’s diverse background (encompassing both account and project management) enables him to work closely with  clients to ensure that each assignment is properly scoped to deliver on expectations.

Mark has over 17 years experience in the combined fields of consulting and project delivery.  Mark’s credentials are indicative of his focus on providing solutions to stakeholders of organisations facing strategic, restructuring and other project challenges.    

Since April 2008, Mark has held the role of Practice Leader of the Advisory and Delivery service line.   In terms of formal engagement experience, Mark has conducted various projects across a range of industries including telecommunications, government, manufacturing and on-line media.

Shane has 15 years of project and programme delivery at both State and Federal government sectors with a particular focus on Defence.

More recent experience has focussed Shane on practical programme solution delivery as a consultant to Australia’s largest tertiary institutions. In addition, as a qualified PRINCE2 and PMBoK trainer, Shane delivered both Diploma of Project Management and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practioner training to a variety of project management professionals. Shane has also extensive experience in course customisation and development. He has also developed a Benefits Realisation 1 day course – the first of its type in Australia. His relaxed training style and experience has allowed him to achieve outstanding results in the training delivery sector.

Shane has only recently joined MetaPM as the Practice Leader – Learning. His focus is to further develop the learning business in the forthcoming months.
