Managing Successful Programmes - Practitioner Course & Examination (2 days)

All delegates must have achieved a pass in the MSP® Foundation exam; participants have the option of continuing immediately to undertake the Practitioner course and exam (2 days).

For both options, the participant receives a Practitioner Exam Study Pack that includes detailed exam guidance material and a sample exam. It is essential that participants have access to the manual "Managing Successful Programmes" during preparation, the Practitioner course and the exam.
Content:
The Practitioner course and exam session is structured over 2 days as follows:
- Revision of Foundation topics, Practitioner syllabus topics, practice exam question for the 13 possible exam question areas – approx. 1.25 days
- Private revision plus questions and answers – approx 0.5 days Practitioner exam – 2.5 hours
- The Practitioner exam (fee included) - is of 2.5 hours duration and is an open-book examination (only the MSP® Manual is allowed). The exam consists of nine questions and a short scenario plus some appendices that are relevant to specific questions. The nine questions will be sub-divided into parts. Each of the nine questions is worth 20 marks giving a total possible of 180 marks. The pass mark is 90 (50%). No reading time is provided prior to the exam.

Successful Practitioner exam candidates receive a Registered Practitioner certificate from the UK Office of Government Commerce via the APM Group Ltd and are listed on the APM Group website as MSP® Registered Practitioners.
